I’m EveryWoman..
EveryWoman began with my own experience navigating the healthcare system. In 2024, after nearly a year of unexplained fatigue, dizziness and extremely low iron—and having my symptoms repeatedly attributed to anxiety or depression—I went to Humber River Hospital, where I was diagnosed with stage 3 lymphoma. After 10 months of chemotherapy, nine blood transfusions and an incredibly difficult year, I am now one year in remission.
As I began sharing my story, I heard from so many women who had also experienced dismissed symptoms, delayed diagnoses or struggled to find answers. I realized my experience could become something bigger: an opportunity to bring people together and help advocate for better research and better healthcare for women.
That is why I created EveryWoman—a community-driven initiative raising awareness and funding for women’s health research. I believe every woman deserves to have her symptoms taken seriously and her healthcare supported by research that reflects women’s bodies and experiences. My goal is to bring people together, raise funds, and help move women’s health forward.
